Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will work with goods reception and packaging. You will ensure that incoming materials are handled correctly from the moment they arrive until they are presented for production. Your task will be to supply all production units and projects with materials and assist with logistics solutions for all units. The assignment offers a varied job with different tasks and daily contact with customers, primarily consisting of internal colleagues at Saab AB.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving incoming goods
• Forklift operation
• Material storage and inventory management
• Documentation and reporting of incoming goods

The assignment is full-time, during the day or evening, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of flexibility. You will start as a consultant with a chance for permanent employment with the client eventually. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for specific citizenship.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Material Handler, we see that you have experience in material handling and forklift operation. We believe you are a meticulous and quality-conscious person. Furthermore, we believe you are an adaptable person who can handle multiple work processes simultaneously. As a Material Handler, you have good computer skills and enjoy alternating your work with various administrative tasks. As a person, you are also service-oriented since much of the work involves collaborating and cooperating within the unit as well as across organizational boundaries.

Qualifications:

• Experience in goods reception and material handling
• Experience in packaging
• Experience in administrative work
• Forklift license A+B
• Computer skills
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable:

• Experience as a team leader
• Experience in customs handling
• Experience working with hazardous materials
